News from Help 4 The Homeless: Charity Manager – an enhanced role

H4TH is delighted to announce the appointment of Lorraine Feldman as Charity Manager. Lorraine has a wide range of skills gained in HR, PR and Marketing working in Professional Services, Property, FMCG and the Third Sector. Lorraine will be overseeing the day-to-day running and development of the charity alongside Lloyd Gilmore, CEO and Ron Overton, Development Director.

Shoshana Gilmore, Founder & Chair said, "Lorraine's previous experience working in the charity sector is helping H4TH provide the necessary grounding it needs to grow. She will be an integral part of the team, helping the charity find its voice and raising awareness of the love and care we provide now and in the future."

Lloyd Gilmore, CEO said, “As our charity is going from strength to strength it is with great delight for Shoshana and myself and the rest of the trustees to see that Lorraine is promoted to our Charity Manager. She has been integral in the last 6-8 months in the smooth running of the charity. Her initiatives and fundraising events are integral to our growth."

Ron Overton, Development Director said, "As part of the Boards ongoing commitment to strengthening the charity’s services and resource base, the trustees were pleased to enhance Lorraine's role in two key ways. Firstly, it was agreed to increase Lorraine’s hours to keep up with increased workload as we expand and address process and quality issues. More importantly her role and title has been enhanced to Charity Manager and she is tasked with running the charity operationally on a day-to-day basis, supported by myself and by Lloyd and Shoshana, who continue to be responsible for hands on delivery of our On the Street and Food Poverty Projects, and their ongoing work as Senior Ambassadors and Founders of the Charity. Lorraine is line managed by Ron and reports to the Board through Lloyd as CEO.

Ron continued: This is an exciting year for H4TH and this development is pivotal in our aims to expand existing and launch new services as part of our mission to support the homeless and to challenge homelessness. The Board will be detailing its strategic plan over the next few months and ahead of our new financial year from 1 June.”

Lorraine Feldman said, "I am delighted to step in to this new role within H4TH. I'm really looking forward to continuing to work alongside Lloyd, Shoshana, Ron, the trustees, volunteers and supporters - all collectively striving to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support."
